Defending champ Stephen Craig holds first place as professional baseball limps into the second half of the 2020 season. Stephen has been on top for most of the past week despite idling at 3.11 since Sunday. However, five different entrants have led the pool since our first email update on August 14th, and 13 of our 19 members have cracked the top five at least once... and the Marlins have the fifth-best record in the National League!

Our daily leaders since the last email update:

Baseball fans-

Jeff Gatland leads the first update of the 2020 MLB Predictions Pool, as teams cautiously approach the middle third of their schedules... Jeff is the only entrant to pick current AL strikeout leader Shane Bieber; other “unique picks” include Archie Bradley for NL saves (Dan McCloskey), Charlie Blackmon's .472 (!) batting average (John Agnello), and Dylan Moore for AL steals (Rob LaColla).

We'll be posting daily leaderboards on the pool site (mlbpool.blogspot.com) and on Twitter (@PredictionsPool) from now until the end of the season. Expect email updates about once a week for the time being.

See you soon!
