Yesterday Danton was this year’s first entrant with four correct picks— this morning he’s sharing first place with Michael and Jud. Jake Odorizzi’s 5 1/3 shutout innings against the White Sox bumped Justin Verlander out of the AL ERA lead, costing Danton a unique pick in the process.

Will Rice only needed two correct picks to sit atop the first leaderboard of our 15th annual MLB Predictions Pool. We’ve already had a few injuries amongst our more popular picks (Trea Turner, Giancarlo Stanton), as well as some big names with slow starts on the mound (Corey Kluber, Chris Sale, Jacob deGrom). Before you demand a refund, remember we’re barely five weeks into the season! There’s plenty of time for players to turn things around (or get even worse)...
